I have moved some four or five times during the past five years(not including trips out west or the 6 months I lived in Banff).
While Each apartment and neighbourhood has had its ups and downs, I have not yet found a place I can call home. This will, in all honesty, never occur until I can own my own apartment or home but I nevertheless want to feel as comfortable as possible in my surroundings. I have been in my new apartment in Montreal’s Mile End for a month now and must confess to being quite comfortable here. I for the first time ever have painted my room(from a puke yellow to Newport Blue), I have curtains for the first time and have finally bought an adult bed. I wish I had taken a picture of the room and colour beforehand but I promise, this is a wonderful improvement. The room feels warm and inviting.
